Our Information & Advice Service aims to give you all the information, guidance and support you may need to make informed choices about independent living. We can also help to make sure you get the right support from other agencies and that you are accessing all the financial support you are entitled to.
Our experienced casework team can provide independent, timely and relevant advice and support to enable clients to make informed choices about their home. Caseworkers can visit you at home to fully understand your needs. The range of casework advice and information includes:
- Housing options advice
- Assistance with filling in forms
- Grant/funding applications, including Disabled Facilities Grant application support
- Signposting/referrals to other relevant services and organisations
We also have an expert Technical team who can provide advice and information relating to the technical aspects of home adaptations and repairs. Again, they can visit you at home. See our section on Home Adaptations & Repairs for more information.
